Research

My main interests are information security, most on system hardening and security assessment, I’m also very interested in system and network administration mostly on Unix based Operating Systems.

My PhD research has been done at the Bioinformatics Group on IEETA, in a joint doctoral program of three main portugueses universities, namely university of Minho, Aveiro and Porto.
My research area is Electronic Health Records for Mobile Citizens, whereI'm trying to propose a model that can be use to create and infrastructure of services that can be use in a secure way to gather disperse medical information of a patient, enabling that all actors can collaborate to the creation of the EHR.
