Hi,

I was born in 1982 in Lisbon. Graduated in 2006 in Informatics Engineering at Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. During this time, I've created, with colleagues, the Institute's Linux User Group and also administer the Informatics and the Communications Labs. On the middle of the fourth grade, I've started to work in the Network Operation Center as network and system administrator, mostly in Unix like operative systems and with specially concerns to the system security.
Began to lecture on 2006 in the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, mainly subjects related with systems and network administration, operative systems and security of information systems.
I'm a PhD candidate, since 2007, on Computer Science on the MAP-I joint doctoral program of the Universities of Minho, Aveiro and Porto. I’m integrated on the Institute of Electronics and Telematics Engineering of Aveiro, in Information Systems and Telematics Laboratory on the Bioinformatics group, where I make my research in the field of Electronic Health Records for Mobile Citizens.
My main research interests are in the security area, mostly related with hardening and security auditing.
